We work in partnership with three other local public sector organisations, including Staffordshire County Council, the South East Staffordshire and Seisdon Peninsula Clinical Commissioning Group, and Staffordshire Police (via the Police and Crime Commissioner) to combine our local funding streams into a single pot and to create a simple process to commission local services and projects.
The process is called locality commissioning and is administered by the Lichfield District Locality Commissioning Board. The term commissioning covers the procurement process from needs assessment to monitoring and evaluating the impact of services and projects.
