Keep warm it's winter

Keep Warm Its Winter is an information pack launched by the Lichfield District Strategic Partnership to help older people keep warm and well at home during winter.

The Keep Warm it’s Winter packs include leaflets from a host of local organisations that offer information on staying warm, eating well, keeping active and staying safe. Advice leaflets on money, debt, home adaptations and looking out for neighbours are also included as well as information on where residents can go for help.

Councillor Colin Greatorex, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Housing & Health, said: “Older people are especially vulnerable to the cold weather, and this pack has useful information to help local people to live in their homes more comfortably throughout the winter."

“By following the advice and taking advantage of all the help that is available, we’re sure many of our older residents can enjoy living in their homes for longer.”

The Keep Warm it’s Winter pack is free and available on request from Lichfield District Council’s Frog Lane reception. They are also available  from community groups and partner agencies across the district.

Keep Warm it’s Winter is a Lichfield District Strategic Partnership campaign, led by Lichfield District Council and South Staffordshire Age UK, supported by a host of local organisations.
