Our Lichfield District 2050 strategy identifies green communities as a key priority.
We have pledged to do all we can to achieve the ambitious target of net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
We also want everyone across Lichfield District to join with us by taking action to reduce the carbon we all produce.
Our internal carbon reduction action plan sets out our plan as a district council to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and we will measure our progress on our carbon neutral dashboard.
Individual acts all add up and localised actions really count - if you want to join with us, why not find out about our:
- biodiversity projects across the district.
- habitat havens across the district
- electric car charing resources
- read our local plan evidence base relating to climate change, renewables and low carbon energy.
- find out about our biodiversity consultancy services delivered by our wholly owned company (LWMTS)

Together we can.
