With two big events including the Lichfield Food Festival and Crooked House taking place in the city this bank holiday weekend, car parks across the city will be very busy.

If you are able, we would encourage you to consider using local bus and train services or walk in if possible.

If you do choose to come in by car, please be aware that Bird Street car park (behind B&M Bargains) will be closed to drivers from Friday afternoon to Monday night, apart from for blue badge drivers and those accessing private parking spaces that adjoin the car park.

Our interactive car park signs will be updated to show available car park capacity and we would encourage you to consider parking in the Friary multi-storey car park. Additional temporary car parking is also available on Saturday, Sunday and Monday on Stowe Field, which is just beyond Lombard Street car park (WS13 6DW). View car parks in the city.

Chasewater family fun morning

Come down to Chasewater to meet local services including the police, fire service, Chasewater Friends, Pier 52, Getin2it sports development and the Lichfield District community safety partnership.

There is also a fair on site and there will be free fun activities for kids with the Getin2it sports development team.
