How to apply and fees
To apply for an animal welfare licence, please download and complete the relevant application form below.
It is important you read these and the government guidance before you complete your application form.
Once completed, please email your completed application to licensing@lichfielddc.gov.uk and make an online licensing payment.
After you apply an experienced local authority officer will carry out an inspection - for horse riding and dog breeding, the officer will be joined by a vet.

Licence fees are as follows:

*Only new dog breeders require a vet inspection in addition to an officers inspection, unless an officer has concerns and request an additional vets inspection. A vet inspection is always required when inspecting a premises that hires out horses. The vet inspection cost is not included in the licence fee.
