Event street trading
If you are planning to trade at an event anywhere in the District, such as a festival or Christmas event, you will need a event street trading consent.

How to apply
Before you can apply for an event consent you will need to contact the event organiser to book your place at the event and find out if there are any specific conditions. They will apply for the street trading consents on your behalf and issue you with your consent which you must display at the event.
If you plan to sell food you must be registered as a food business with your local council. You need to register with the council at the location where your unit or stall is stored.
Remember, if you need other licences/permits - such as a TEN for alcohol sales and/or a charity collection permit it is your responsibility to apply for these. Please make sure you apply within the deadlines.
