An application for the erection of 109 houses was refused by Lichfield District Councils Planning Committee at its meeting on 29th July 2024. 30 January 2025- the applicants Vistry Homes Ltd / Greenlight Developments Ltd have submitted an appeal to the Planning Inspectorate requesting that an appeal is heard via a public inquiry. The Inspectorate will now consider the submissions and confirm in due course if the appeal is valid and what route the appeal proceedings will follow. Once validated, the Planning Inspectorate will provide the Council with a start date. Once the start date is received, the appeal documents will be available on the Councils website for viewing.
