What we will do
If you submit a light complaint to us we will ask you to keep a log or diary sheets detailing the date, time period of the light nuisance and the impact on you.
This helps us determine whether your complaint meets the threshold for a statutory noise nuisance.
Once we have your completed log sheets we may visit your home to measure the light, make an informal approach to the neighbour or business causing the nuisance or issue an abatement notice.
