Special event street trading
If you are planning to trade at a special event in the District, such as a food festival or Christmas market, you will need a special event street trading consent.
How to apply
Before you can apply for a special event consent you will need to contact the event organiser to book your place at the event and find out if there are any specific conditions. They will then provide you with a link to apply for a special event street trading consent.
If you plan to sell food you must be registered as a food business with your local council. You need to register with the council at the location where your unit or stall is stored.
Remember, you may also need other licences/permits - such as a TEN for alcohol sales and/or a charity collection permit.
