If you want your garden waste bin(s) emptied this year, you can now sign up for 2025 by credit or debit card, or by direct debit.
New on-demand transport service
Pilot service for villagers across the district to provide access to high streets. LinkUp is available to villages that do not currently have public transport routes into Lichfield city or Burntwood town centres.

Recycle your Christmas tree
If you are subscribed to our garden waste service you can recycle your Christmas tree in your brown bin. Make sure you chop it up and can close the lid. St Giles also runs an annual programme called Treecycle where you can book a collection in return for a donation.

Our rural fund grant gives boost to city catering company
A funding grant we have made is helping a city catering business expand its operation with the creation of a restaurant. The funding was available to support micro or small businesses and fund equipment to enable greener, low carbon farming and the conversion of farm buildings for other commercial uses.
