Personal licences – Privacy statement

Our offices and phone lines will be closed for the Christmas and New Year bank holidays on Wednesday 25 December, Thursday 26 December and Wednesday 1 January. We'll also be closing earlier at 4pm on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

Please use our report, book and apply form or you can WhatsApp us and we will respond when we reopen. View our Christmas bin collection changes here. In the event of an urgent council issue that cannot wait, please contact our out of hours service on 01527 406643.

We moved a number of bin collections forward because of Christmas, and tagged people’s bins to let them know to put them out early.

We are concerned that some people may have missed the advertised deadline and so we have taken immediate steps to try to help residents in the following way:

If your bin is normally emptied on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday and:

you didn't put your black bin out on your revised collection day, please leave it out and we’ll try to come back and empty it on Christmas Eve, Friday or Saturday. If your black bin is not emptied by 4pm on Saturday, please email enquiries@lichfielddc.gov.uk
you didn't put your blue bin, blue bag or purple bin out on your revised collection day, please put them out on your next normal collection day and we’ll take extra glass, cans and plastic in tied carrier bags or clear plastic bags, and extra cardboard folded neatly next to your bin.
