Our 2024 - 2025 delivery plan
This year (2024 - 2025's) delivery plan includes the following activities, in line with the three key Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner funding streams available to the partnership:
Locality deal fund
- Getin2it diversionary activity to encourage young people away from anti-social behaviour and towards more positive activities.
- A project with Betterway Recovery that aims to tackle and county lines and support young children and adults at risk.
- A project to that will see police officers work directly with re-offenders to prevent further criminal activity across Lichfield District & Tamworth.
- Crime prevention merchandise to raise the profile of safer community actions - including faraday pouches and more.
- Community led strategy and data dashboard development.
Anti-social behaviour tasking fund
- Street first aid workshops for district high schools.
- Theatre workshops targetting young men to address violence against women and girls.
- Bleed kits focussing on Burntwood and rural areas across the district.
Violence reduction alliance fund
- Appointment of an independent chair any ASB reviews.
- Anti-social behaviour reduction and diversionary activites in Burntwood & Lichfield aiming to build confidence and friendships within the community for young people aged between 8-12 years.
- Confidence building sessions at The Bridge Academy.
