This consultation is now closed

Start date: 30 April 2018

Closing date: 11 June 2018

Areas Affected

  • Lichfield District wide

We are reviewing our local plan with the aim to create a new local plan that will provide direction on the future growth of the area.

Once adopted, it will replace the current local plan strategy (which was adopted in 2015) and the local plan allocations document, which is expected to be adopted in 2018. Until the time the new local plan is adopted we will continue to use the existing local plan when making planning decisions.

The review of the local plan is separate to the on-going work on the local plan allocations document. The allocations document will complete the current local plan and will be presented to members in May 2018 before being submitted for its examination
