If you haven't put your postal vote in a post box yet, and are worried it might not reach us on time, you can deliver it to either the district council house today and tomorrow between 9am and 5pm, or any polling station, between 7am & 10pm tomorrow (4 July 2024).

Please be aware however, that you will have to complete a form if you drop you postal vote off in person, and you can't just leave it or put it through our council house letter box. Filling in a form is a legal requirement and our staff have to ask you to complete it.

You must show photo ID to vote at polling stations in the general election on 4 July 2024. Common photo IDs that you can use include:

Passport (this doesn't need to be in date, but it needs to be recent enough to look like you)
Driving licence (including provisional license)
Blue badge
Specific travel cards (such as an older person’s bus pass or disabled person’s bus pass)

Whittington & Fisherwick Neighbourhood Plan Referendum

Residents in Whittingon & Fisherwick were asked to vote in a referendum on 22 February 2018 on the proposed Whittington & Fisherwick Neighbourhood Plan. Residents were asked to answer the question: "Do you want Lichfield District Council to use the neighbourhood plan for Whittington & Fisherwick to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"
