Draft Economic Development Strategy

We are now seeking feedback on the draft Economic Development Strategy 2015-2020.

Work on producing a Strategy has been progressed as part of the Economic Development Review covering the period 2015 - 2020. A multi stakeholder Project Team has sought to define a set of strategic objectives for the District and from this develop a group of actions. Subsequent to this an Action Plan has been prepared providing details of how the Strategy and the actions contained within it will be delivered, by whom and within what timescales. In drafting the Strategy particular care has been taken to ensure that it and the objectives contained with the document are fully aligned with the Council’s emerging Strategic Plan. The responses from this consultation will be reported back to members prior to a final version of the Strategy being agreed and adopted by the Council.
