Start date: 12 November 2024

Closing date: 20 December 2024

Areas Affected

  • Lichfield District wide

We are updating our housing, homelessness and rough sleeping strategy to help us make sure we are supporting our customers in the best possible way from 2025 onwards.

We are asking people who are current users of our homelessness and tenancy sustainment services, and those who have recently used our services, to give us their views on how well we serve you and what improvements we could make, so we can feed any ideas into our emerging strategy.

The key priorities in our emerging strategy include:

  • To prevent or relieve all forms of homelessness including rough sleeping.
  • To reduce demand for homelessness services through pro active support (prevention, partnership working, and the work done by the tenancy sustainment officers).
  • Increase the number of positive outcomes for homeless households.

Do you agree with these priorities? Is there anything else we should be considering?

How to give your views

We are really grateful to you for taking the time to give us your views - whether you are a current customer or a past customer, we want your input to help us get our strategy right for the future.

To get even more detailed feedback we will be hosting some workshops in late November/early December and giving anyone who attends a £25 supermarket voucher as a thank you.

If you are interested in taking part in a workshop session, please complete our survey before 21 November and enter your email address in as part of the form and we'll be in touch.

Depending on how many people want to take part, we may randomly select people to join. Thank you for your understanding.

The overall deadline for giving views is 20 December at 5pm.
