We are inviting residents, communities and businesses to take part in shaping an exciting new public mural coming to Lichfield City Centre.
The mural, funded through UK Shared Prosperity Funding is set to transform the alleyway between Market Street and Bird Street Car Park.
The artwork will be painted across 30 metres of the alleyway and is set to capture Lichfield’s heritage and unique offering as a city and will be painted by international street artist and muralist Nacho Welles.
Nacho has painted in street and graffiti art festivals across Europe and has painted murals all over the world.
Residents, communities and businesses can take part in an online survey that will be open until Sunday 16 March, and asks for views on themes, colour schemes and key elements to bring the mural together.
Alongside this, Nacho will be holding workshops with students from Lichfield College in street art and involving them to create the final artwork.
If you’d like to share your thoughts and ideas for the mural, you can take part in the online survey.
The survey will be open until midnight on Sunday 16 March 2025.
