Noise complaints
What we will do
If you submit a noise complaint to us we will ask you to keep a log or diary sheets detailing the date, time period of the noise and the impact on you.
This helps us determine whether your complaint meets the threshold for a statutory noise nuisance.
Once we have your completed log sheets we may install noise monitoring equipment in your home, make an informal approach to the neighbour or business causing the noise or issue an abatement notice.
