Our housing options team
If you approach us as homeless, you will be allocated a housing options officer.
Your housing options officer's role is to provide advice and support to individuals and families facing housing difficulties.
Your officer will assess your housing needs, explore available accommodation options, and work to prevent your homelessness where possible by offering tailored solutions.
This may include liaising with your landlord, housing provider, and support services on your behalf to secure suitable housing, assisting with applications for social housing or financial assistance, and ensuring compliance with relevant housing legislation.
Your housing options officer's goal is to help you find stable and appropriate accommodation while guiding you through the process with clear advice and practical support.
If you are eligible to apply for our housing register, you will also be supported by our housing register team - find out more.
