What is noise nuisance?

Noise is a normal part of our daily lives and everyone from time to time will be subjected to it. Neighbours need to show a certain amount of tolerance towards each other as lifestyles do differ. However, everyone needs to be considerate and mindful of the noise they make and take reasonable steps to make sure they do not cause a nuisance to their neighbours.

If loud noise happens frequently, goes on for a long time or interferes with your normal activities, we may be able to help you.

We do not operate a 24 hour response to noise complaints. Our office is open Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
