If you haven't put your postal vote in a post box yet, and are worried it might not reach us on time, you can deliver it to either the district council house today and tomorrow between 9am and 5pm, or any polling station, between 7am & 10pm tomorrow (4 July 2024).

Please be aware however, that you will have to complete a form if you drop you postal vote off in person, and you can't just leave it or put it through our council house letter box. Filling in a form is a legal requirement and our staff have to ask you to complete it.

Our team will work as fast as we can to serve you, however there may be a short wait at busy times. Thank you for your patience and understanding - we really appreciate it.

You must show photo ID to vote at polling stations in the general election on 4 July 2024. Common photo IDs that you can use include:

Passport (this doesn't need to be in date, but it needs to be recent enough to look like you)
Driving licence (including provisional license)
Blue badge
Specific travel cards (such as an older person’s bus pass or disabled person’s bus pass)

See designs for Streethay Community Centre at consultation event on Thursday

Streethay Community Centre. — Residents' feedback is sought on the designs for Streethay Community Centre.

Residents can learn more about the Streethay Community Centre development at a special engagement and consultation event on Thursday, 9 November.

This is a highly anticipated community facility, and the event will feature photos of the building’s design, 3D walk-through visuals and comprehensive information about the scheme.

All the key stakeholders will be present including Streethay Parish Councillors, the project team at Lichfield District Council’s trading company LWMTS which is providing project management support, and the architects, Lichfield-based BHB.

Residents attending will be asked to give their feedback and explain what they would like to see the community centre used for, by completing a short form.

The consultation event will take place at Streethay Primary School, Yoxall Way, Streethay on Thursday between 5.30pm and 7.30pm in the main hall. Everyone is welcome.
